Finding Products
Paintball Warehouse is a database-driven e-commerce web site which provides you with several ways to find the product you are looking for.
- Perform a Keyword Search on the whole warehouse
- Perform a Keyword Search within a particular department
- Browse through a department and its sub-categories
- Take advantage of the Special Offers
Keyword Searches
The search tool can be found on the Home Page and within all of the department pages. It looks like this...

To search the entire of Paintball Warehouse for an item, all you need to do is type your search Keyword into the field which says Enter Keywords and click on the Search button.
To search a particular department, you need to first select that department from the drop-down list, then enter your Keyword into the field which says Enter Keywords and finally, click on the Search button.
Whichever method you use, you will then be given a list of products that match your search criteria.
For example, if you typed "JT" in as your Keyword, the search results would list all JT products. However, if you selected the "Goggles and Lenses" department and then entered "JT" as your keyword, the search results would list only goggles and lenses manufactured by JT.
Using the Department drop-down list can help to narrow your search results down to help you find exactly what you are looking for.
Browsing the Departments
This is another method of looking for a product and is particularly useful if you want to see a list of alternative products from different manufacturers. It is slower than searching, but you might find browsing preferable if you have some time on your hands.
To begin, click on the Start Shopping button on the left and side of any page. This gives you two ways to look at the main departments within Paintball Warehouse.

Use this to move between the main departments. Simply select your required department from the drop-down list and then click on Go.
Alternatively, there is a series of images below this navigation tool which represent the main departments. You can click on any of these to jump to your required department.
Once you have moved to your department, you will be presented with a list of sub-categories. Click on any sub-category to view a list of all the products under that category.
Take Advantage of the Special Offers
You will find a couple of special offers listed at the bottom of the Home Page and Department pages. Some of these are unique to you (as long as you remembered to log in) and some are generic. To take advantage of them, all you need to do is click on the Buy or More Info buttons.
Making Purchases
Products are listed individually within each department. Below is an example of how each product is displayed.
Once you have found the product that you want to purchase, you need to use the Options Selection drop-down boxes to choose colour, size or type if available, then enter the Quantity Required, and then click upon the Add To Cart Button. You will be asked to confirm that you want to add the item to your shopping cart. Click OK to add the product or Cancel to cancel.
You can see if the product is in stock or how long it will take to come in to stock by looking at the Availability indicator. This is actually a link - you can click on it to view a description of what the indication means.
Paintball Warehouse uses a Shopping Cart facility to store the products you want to order whilst you are browsing. You can access this shopping cart at any time by clicking on the Cart button below the Add To Cart Button or by clicking on Shopping Cart at the top of any page. The cart looks like this:
Obviously, the content changes depending on the products you have placed in to the cart. You have several options here - you can review your selections, remove them by clicking the appropriate Remove Product Button, change the quantities you entered (edit the Quantity Selection box and then click the Update Cart Button), or empty the shopping cart completely.
Once you are happy with your order, you need to click on the Next Step Button to move to the Customer Details step. If you are an existing customer (i.e. you have created a customer account) and you have already logged in, you will be asked to confirm you are the person the web site thinks you are. If you do not have an account or have not logged in, you will be asked to either create a new account or enter your Email Adrress and Password to log in.
To create a new account (an account is required if you want to place an order) you need to select the "I am a new customer and have not created an account yet" option and then fill in your details in the form provided. Simply follow the instructions on-screen until you have completed the Customer Details section and moved on to the Shipping & Payment Details step.
The Shipping & Payment Details page is secured using SSL technology. Your name and contact information will automatically be entered from your account details, but you can change these if you want your goods delivered to a different address. Then you need to select how you want to pay for the order and enter your card details if applicable. Finally, click on the Next Step Button to complete your order.
You will then be presented with your Receipt. It is important that you print this out or at least make a note of your order number so that you have a record of the order. Without the order number you will not be able to use the on-line order tracking facilities properly nor provide it if you need to contact us.
